Extraction Process : Steam Distillation

Extraction Description : The volatile oil obtained by steam distillation from the twigs & fresh flowering tops of the shrubby perennial Rosemarinus officinalis L. (Fam. Labiatae).

Scent Description : Sweet linalolic and spicy character, both woody and floral with a rich and subtle odour.

Rosewood Essential Oil. Rosewood is a very safe oil, suitable for the most sensitive skins, and has a tonic effect on the body (always test a small area of skin first and use diluted). Calming and steadying - good to use during exams or driving. Stress relief. Aphrodisiac. Useful for all skin types, ideal for mature skin. Rejuvenating, helpful for wrinkles and in anti-stretchmark creams, or to add to carrier oils. Good deodorant. Ideal to use in bath preparations. A few drops added to bath water makes a nice treat.

Antiseptic, bactericidal, uplifting, relaxing, soothing.

Base Products

Linalol (80-90%). Also cineol, terpineol, geraniol, citronellal, limonene, pinene, among others.

Safety

DILUTE TO 5% OR LESS IN A CARRIER OIL BEFORE SKIN APPLICATION. KEEP OUT OF EYES. DO NOT SWALLOW.
